What the * happened in March?

The world has gone mad. There's plenty of evidence to that. The AI space is pretty exciting though. I also have AI-fatigue + AI-anxiety, but found a lot of things to celebrate, learn, and be fascinated about in March. And some that really annoyed me (spoiler: Ghibli).

March was intense. Mostly political (somebody stop him, please), but also world-in-general. AI is also getting closer to uhm, pretty much everything, so let’s see how that went. As a reminder, the new AI Goodies newsletter structure is this:

Also, Framer is moving quite quickly in the direction of replacing Figma, so if you haven’t played around with it yet, start now 💙

And try out this super nice Figma Plugin that allows you to simulate user testing before taking your prototype to stakeholders and / or real users. Below a Spotify example.

Last week I asked my UX Goodies fam to respond to a tough question: do you feel the pressure of needing to become an AI designer?

Over 22K folks saw the story (means the algo found it interesting > means that people found it interesting), and close to 2000 people said Yes (🙋‍♀️ I feel it too, ironically, bc I am one).

But, to help everyone, I am linking a recent Honest UX Talks episode where I discuss the concept of an AI Designer - firstly, if it exists 😅, then what is one and what they do, as well has how to become one if you’re determined.

And the Lovable build journey since I mentioned it earlier. ☝️

To wrap up this section, a poll! 🎉

🛠️ MCP = The Model Context Protocol is an open standard that enables developers to build secure, two-way connections between their data sources and AI-powered tools. The architecture is straightforward: developers can either expose their data through MCP servers or build AI applications (MCP clients) that connect to these servers.

🕺 Vibe coding = an AI-dependent programming technique where a person describes a problem in a few sentences as a prompt to a large language model (LLM) tuned for coding. The LLM generates software, shifting the programmer's role from manual coding to guiding, testing, and refining the AI-generated source code. Vibe coding is claimed by its advocates to allow even amateur programmers to produce software without the extensive training and skills required for software engineering. The term was introduced by Andrej Karpathy in February 2025 and listed in the Merriam-Webster Dictionary the following month as a slang & trending noun.

April starts pretty exciting TBH! I’m currently in Berlin, where I just gave a workshop at an AI conference called Prompt UX, and it was great! 👏

I would love to bring this workshop to your company, team, internal events, leadership sessions, name it.

Running it with 120 designers yesterday was amazing, the response was much more than I expected - and it was intense: we mapped real product journeys, uncovered friction points, and reimagined them with AI in a smart, responsible, and actionable way.

I offered practical frameworks that they can immediately apply in their teams, and when I run this inside companies I’m joined by a technical expert to support with transforming everything into a clear implementation plan, ready to plug into your roadmap.

Feedback from participants is visible on Linkedin, but one stood out: “packed with actionable insights” (dream feedback yas)
