[ launched ] AI Design OS 🪩

[ december 10th ] the v0 goes of AI Design OS goes live, because it is the kind of living organism that can never be "final" 🪩

this knowledge library will continue to evolve as the industry transforms and new patterns and surfaces are emerging. early next year we plan to add the patterns library, an important + valuable resource.

/ the core design motif we landed on is "tracing paper", because it speaks strongly about the main challenge of such an effort:

- we can only aspire to capture a snapshot of where the ai x design industry is currently at, document and archive a memory of this era, as it continues to evolve and transform.

/ in the spirit of disruption, we adopted some anti-design directions, meant to challenge the dogma + shine the light on the urgency of breaking the old rules and formulating new ones

/ intentional friction is also baked in - we complain at scale that technology and oversimplification of knowledge acquiring (or replacing the need to acquire it at all) is rotting our brains

- we intentionally shaped this project to be just a little difficult to consume, to encourage people to stay present and pay attention to what they're reading, by (anti)design

/ not into the “friction / dogma challenging” philosophy? on the website you’ll find a Notion link leading to a space mirroring the website at which you can consume the content in a less cognitively-demanding way 🤗

/ it is now a collective artifact, it belongs to the tech community, so I invite everyone to shape it through feedback, participation 🤲🏻
